MENTAL GAME
Klubnik processes very slowly. He can go sideline to sideline at times, but it can lead to him holding the ball for too long. He is better with one predetermined read; he excels in that regard.
ARM TALENT
Cade has a very average arm. He has some zip on his short throws and can push the ball downfield, but the arm strength is far from elite. He has a nice touch on his throws; receivers can expect catchable passes from him when they are on frame.
RUSHING/MOBILITY
He was used as a runner far more in 2025 than in 2024. He is not much of a scrambler and relies on designed runs for gaining yards. Cade is not overly fast or explosive, but can surprise some defenders with his agility and get an extra yard or two. He runs tough and should be durable.
MANAGEMENT
Cade has big problems with ball security. He is prone to throwing interceptions and fumbling. He doesn't always see or feel the pass rush well. He can escape, but isn't great at seeing where the threats are coming from. He gets by with his athleticism, but is much better within structure, with fewer things to process.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
I don't have high expectations for him. It is hard to see a world where he will be anything other than bench fodder for the foreseeable future. He may get a shot at playing with the lack of depth for the Jets, but his processing speed is the biggest issue he will face. He may be able to survive by extending plays, but it is tough to live on that. He is a taxi squad/bench-stash type of asset.
SUBTLE ARTS
He doesn't get caught up in his mechanics, getting the ball out however he can while still maintaining velocity on the throw. His passes require receivers to contort to get the ball at times. Klubnik is good at extending plays with his eyes downfield. He will be able to complete a lot of the easy stuff at the next level.
IDEAL TEAM FITS
Klubnik's best team fit is on an NFL roster that can develop him as a passer with his mechanics. Teams like the Eagles come to mind as a late round pick.
