RELEASE/ROUTE RUNNING

Effort is a significant concern for Brazzell in this area. Multiple plays on film show him disengaged when the quarterback looks his direction, resulting in a high ceiling but a notably low floor due to inconsistency. His route tree is limited, consisting primarily of vertical 9-routes and comebacks. While he displays some promising nuance on deep patterns, he fails to win consistently in the short-to-intermediate range, limiting his target-earning potential.

PHYSICALITY

Brazzell is not an overly physical receiver, largely due to technical deficiencies. He struggles with hand fighting—particularly at the catch point—which limits his effectiveness in contested situations. Effort again surfaces as an issue, as he occasionally gives up on plays when defenders initiate physical contact.

YARDS AFTER CATCH

Despite his plus-level athleticism, Brazzell showed limited YAC production in the games scouted. His role in Tennessee’s offense was predominantly vertical, restricting opportunities after the catch due to his narrow route tree. When chances did arise, he struggled to generate meaningful yardage with the ball in his hands.

ATHLETICISM

Brazzell is an exceptional athlete. He explodes off the line of scrimmage with impressive burst and demonstrates high-level quickness for his size. Film shows multiple instances of him blowing past defenders with elite long speed, positioning him as a legitimate deep threat at the next level.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

While his flashes—particularly as a downfield threat—suggest upside that exceeds this mark in raw talent, consistent effort concerns could significantly cap his impact at the next level. We remain cautious despite the intriguing physical tools.

BALL SKILLS

This is where Brazzell truly shines. He has a knack for making difficult catches look routine, backed by an elite catch radius and outstanding body control to adjust and contort to off-target throws.

IDEAL TEAM FITS

Brazzell would greatly benefit from going to a team with a very well established and respected Head Coach that is able to get the most out of him.
