RELEASE/ROUTE RUNNING
Stribling shows quick feet off the line and into his stem, but his overall route running is raw. He relies heavily on athleticism rather than technique, with a limited release package and minimal use of his hands. He lacks explosiveness out of breaks, allowing defenders to close on him quickly, and operates within a fairly limited route tree. Physical corners can disrupt him early and often.
PHYSICALITY
Despite having a solid frame, Stribling plays with limited physicality. He is frequently pushed around by defenders, both at the catch point and along the boundary, and is often forced out of bounds. This lack of strength and play demeanor shows up consistently and impacts multiple areas of his game.
YARDS AFTER CATCH
His speed makes him a threat in the open field and if he finds space, he can take it the distance. That said, he doesn’t offer much in terms of tackle-breaking or forced missed tackles, limiting his effectiveness on schemed touches. He’s more of a straight-line runner than a creator after the catch.

ATHLETICISM
Stribling has good top-end speed and can cover ground quickly once he gets going. However, he lacks initial burst and explosiveness, taking time to reach that top gear. His foot quickness shows up in his release and stem, but it doesn’t consistently translate into separation throughout the route.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Stribling is a speed-based receiver whose value comes from his ability to stretch the field vertically. However, limitations in route refinement, explosiveness, and especially physicality cap his overall impact. He projects as a situational deep threat rather than a complete receiver, needing development to become a more reliable, every-down option.
BALL SKILLS
He has solid hands overall with few drops, but tends to let the ball into his frame rather than extending to attack it, limiting his catch radius. Physicality is a major concern at the catch point, as he struggles to win through contact and gets pushed around by defenders. He does track the ball well on deep routes, which helps him capitalize on vertical opportunities.

IDEAL TEAM FITS

Stribling would benefit from going to a wide receiver room with established veterans that can teach him the game and help him work on his physicality. The Rams seem like a perfect destination for him where he can help stretch the field right away.
