VISION/PATIENCE

Reid shows average vision and can be inconsistent reading blocks. He often tries to do too much, looking to create rather than taking what is available. He does not consistently manipulate defenders or set up lanes, which can limit his efficiency.

POWER/CONTACT BALANCE

This is very good for his size. Reid runs with strong speed-to-power, finishes runs well, and keeps his feet moving through contact. He shows impressive contact balance, especially when fighting through arm tackles. It is worth noting that he will likely struggle in this area at the NFL level due to frame limitations.

3RD DOWN SKILLSET

Reid offers versatility as a pass-game option and has the ability to line up across the formation. He shows reliable hands and the speed to be effective after the catch. However, he struggles in tight spaces to consistently make defenders miss and will sometimes run into contact. Pass protection is a major concern, as he has difficulty identifying and picking up blitzers.

ATHLETICISM

Athleticism is a clear strength for Reid. He possesses strong long speed and the ability to break big plays once he finds space. His acceleration is good, though he lacks consistent initial burst through the line and appears limited in short-area quickness in the open field. That said, his speed can be a problem for linebackers when matched up out of the backfield.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Reid is an athletic, big-play threat with strong contact balance and versatility in the passing game. However, inconsistent vision, limited creativity in space, and pass-protection concerns cap his upside. He projects best as a change-of-pace back who can contribute as a receiving option and generate explosive plays.

ELUSIVENESS

Reid flashes short-area quickness and can force some missed tackles, but he struggles to string moves together. Despite his size, he does not consistently explode through cuts and will at times run into contact rather than avoid it in space.
