MENTAL GAME
Pavia shows an average overall understanding of the position. Vanderbilt’s offense primarily asked him to facilitate rather than consistently diagnose complex coverages. He demonstrates good awareness of when to use his legs, though he is quick to abandon deeper developing concepts, even when receivers come open. While the structure was not overly simplified, he still did not consistently show the ability to operate within it at a high level.
ARM TALENT
Pavia lacks the arm talent required to be an efficient NFL passer. He can push the ball downfield only when receivers are clearly open and he has a clean pocket. While he is serviceable in the short passing game, his accuracy can waver, and he offers little threat on deep or sideline throws. The absence of velocity and drive significantly limit his projection at the next level.
RUSHING/MOBILITY
Mobility is his best trait. Pavia does an excellent job escaping pressure and extending plays, rarely taking sacks. He is effective at picking up chunk yardage when defenses fail to account for him, and shows comfort on designed runs. While he is not an elite athlete who will consistently outrun defenders, he has enough quickness and short-area agility to make occasional defenders miss.

MANAGEMENT
Despite his improvisational style, Pavia does a solid job protecting the football. He absorbs contact well and generally avoids putting the ball in harm’s way. However, he tends to rely too heavily on his legs, often leaving the pocket prematurely rather than allowing routes to develop. That tendency reflects a lack of trust in his arm and limits offensive efficiency.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
As with many run-first quarterbacks, Pavia carries some situational fantasy appeal. If he were to see playing time, his mobility could generate short-term value. However, his size and limited passing ability create a narrow path to opportunity. He is best viewed as a deep Superflex dart throw, only worth consideration in larger formats where any rushing quarterback holds theoretical upside.
SUBTLE ARTS
Pavia’s game lacks refinement in the finer details. His mechanics are inconsistent, often featuring an overly wide base that limits his ability to generate velocity. His pocket movement is more about escaping than subtly navigating space, and his ball placement is generally average. There is little nuance in his play, which contributes to his inconsistency as a passer

IDEAL TEAM FITS

His best team fit would be with a creative offensive coordinator who can utilize his rushing upside while he develops as a passer.
