MENTAL GAME
Allar did not consistently show the ability to work quickly through progressions or make correct reads at an NFL level. Penn State’s offensive line often afforded him time, yet the ball still arrived late. He could access checkdowns, but only prematurely or after holding the ball too long. His anticipation and processing speed are concerns, particularly since he will have significantly less time to operate against NFL defenses.
ARM TALENT
Allar’s arm strength is underwhelming relative to his physical profile. While he flashes occasional touch, particularly on vertical concepts, he frequently leaves deep throws short. Accuracy is inconsistent, with a tendency to throw behind receivers or miss high on sideline routes. Overall, his arm talent leaves more questions than answers at the next level.
RUSHING/MOBILITY
Mobility is the strongest aspect of Allar’s game. He excels at extending plays and is a legitimate rushing threat when space presents itself. With excellent size, he is difficult for defenders to bring down and can break tackles in the open field. While he lacks elite speed or twitch, he is mobile enough to stress defenses that fail to account for him as a runner.

MANAGEMENT
Given his experience, greater command of the offense would be expected. While there were flashes of control and confidence, too often the game appeared to speed up on him. He was prone to mistakes in critical moments and rarely elevated the team in high-leverage situations. That inconsistency in poise and situational execution is a notable concern projecting forward.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Allar’s rushing ability elevates his fantasy appeal relative to some peers in this class. If he earns playing time, his mobility would make him immediately usable in Superflex formats. The uncertainty lies in when and how he sees the field. He profiles as a worthwhile late-round rookie draft flyer and taxi squad stash, particularly for managers seeking upside at quarterback.
SUBTLE ARTS
Allar shows strong pocket presence, understanding how to maneuver within confined spaces to buy extra time. However, his mechanics are inconsistent. His footwork can become disjointed, and his release is slower than ideal, which affects timing. To his credit, he displays creativity, including the ability to throw from altered arm angles, even while absorbing contact.

IDEAL TEAM FITS

Allar’s size and physical traits align well with offenses that value structure and play-action from under center. A developmental environment under Jim Harbaugh with the Los Angeles Chargers would be intriguing, given the staff’s experience. That type of system could help stabilize his footwork and decision-making while maximizing his mobility within a controlled framework.
