RELEASE/ROUTE RUNNING

Cameron operates with a very limited release package and is rarely able to gain leverage or separation at the line of scrimmage. He struggles to sink his hips at the top of routes and lacks sharpness in and out of breaks. His route tree is basic with primarily go routes, curls, and fades. His footwork can be inconsistent at times and he lacks explosiveness at the stem of his routes. He will struggle mightily to gain separation at the NFL level.

PHYSICALITY

He uses his size and hands well at the catch point and competes through contact. While he can be disrupted at times in routes, he shows solid effort and leg drive after the catch, consistently working for extra yardage.

YARDS AFTER CATCH

Despite limited athleticism, Cameron can generate some yards after the catch due to his build and play strength. He runs with a low center of gravity, allowing him to fight through arm and leg tackles, and shows good instincts turning upfield. However, he is not a true big-play threat in space.

ATHLETICISM

Cameron lacks burst, explosiveness, and top-end speed, which limits his ability to separate and create big plays. He struggles to pull away from defenders and doesn’t offer much dynamic movement through his routes.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

He wins with physicality and ball skills rather than athleticism. His ability to secure contested catches and fight for extra yards gives him some utility, but limitations in separation and explosiveness cap his ceiling. He projects as a possession-style receiver with situational value but little fantasy value in Jacksonville's crowded WR room.

BALL SKILLS

A strong area of his game. Cameron shows reliable hands overall, with only occasional concentration drops. He uses late hands effectively at the catch point and does a good job securing contested catches. He extends well outside his frame, displays a solid catch radius, and consistently positions his body to box out defenders.

IDEAL TEAM FITS

His best fit would be with a team in need of a red zone weapon as a potential WR4/5. Teams like the Colts and Vikings come to mind.
