RELEASE/ROUTE RUNNING
Trigg’s route running is a mixed bag. He occasionally rounds his breaks and shows inconsistent effort, which caps his reliability. That said, he flashes sharp execution on ins and slants, creating separation with quickness. As a plus athlete, he consistently uses his speed and explosiveness to uncover against linebackers, particularly when aligned in the slot or in motion.
YARDS AFTER CATCH
Trigg is an above-average YAC producer thanks to his athleticism. He can make the first defender miss in space and shows the burst to turn the corner on catches over the middle, generating chunk yardage when the ball is in his hands.
ATHLETICISM
Trigg is an outstanding athlete who frequently looks like an oversized wide receiver on the field. He moves fluidly, snaps off sharp cuts from one foot, and possesses good long speed. Baylor schemed him in motion for wheel routes to exploit this trait, and he consistently proved too fast and explosive for linebackers to handle deep downfield.

BLOCKING
Blocking is a significant liability for Trigg. He lacks both effort and fundamental technique, often showing poor awareness. Multiple times on tape he inadvertently turned defenders directly into the running lane. This deficiency is pronounced enough that it could limit his snap count at the next level.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Trigg's athletic upside and occasional flashes are intriguing, but inconsistency in hands, effort, and especially blocking represent major hurdles. He will need a system that deploys him primarily as a big slot and significant technical refinement to become a reliable contributor on dynasty rosters.
BALL SKILLS
Trigg’s ball skills are below average, reflected in a 41% contested-catch rate and a concerning 12.3% drop rate that was evident on film. His hands are unreliable and he routinely drops catchable passes and struggles to secure the ball through contact. While he flashes a solid catch radius and has a few highlight-reel grabs (including a notable one-handed catch against Kansas State), the inconsistency makes him a frustrating evaluation in this area.

IDEAL TEAM FITS

Trigg will need to go to a team that will use him as a big slot receiving tight end due to his liability as a blocking tight end.
