MENTAL GAME
Green operates primarily as a one-read quarterback. He rarely progresses beyond his initial option and seldom utilizes checkdowns. When his first read is covered, he tends to break the pocket and rely on improvisation, often defaulting to his legs. While he shows flashes of pre-snap recognition and decent timing, his post-snap processing breaks down quickly.
ARM TALENT
Green possesses impressive arm strength, generating strong velocity at all levels of the field. He is capable of layering throws with touch when mechanics are aligned. However, accuracy remains inconsistent, particularly on deep balls and sideline routes where he frequently misses high.
RUSHING/MOBILITY
Mobility is Green’s defining trait. He makes outrunning SEC defenders look routine, and can generate explosive plays even when the passing game stalls. His long speed and smooth stride are legitimate weapons. While he is not exceptionally elusive in tight quarters and rarely breaks tackles, his acceleration and angle-breaking speed create constant stress for defenses.

MANAGEMENT
Turnovers are a major issue. Green has been prone to both interceptions and fumbles, and his high-variance style has negatively impacted team outcomes. Despite being one of the most physically gifted players on the field, his decision-making often undercuts that advantage. He must dramatically improve ball security and situational awareness to earn meaningful NFL opportunities.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
The rushing upside is impossible to ignore in fantasy formats. Even with projected poor draft capital, Green’s athletic profile makes him an intriguing dynasty stash. He may never develop into a reliable starter, but quarterbacks with this level of mobility carry asymmetric upside.
SUBTLE ARTS
The developmental concerns are significant. Green struggles to come off his first read, and often overlooks open secondary options. His pocket presence is limited, with a tendency to escape backward or laterally rather than climbing. This results in avoidable, drive-killing sacks. When he steps up into the pocket, he is more effective, but that discipline appears inconsistently on tape.

IDEAL TEAM FITS

Green will require patience and significant development time. A coaching staff experienced with athletic, dual-threat quarterbacks would be ideal. The Washington Commanders present an intriguing developmental landing spot given their recent work with mobile quarterbacks. Regardless of destination, he should be viewed as a long-term project rather than an immediate contributor.
