MENTAL GAME
Chambliss is rarely asked to progress beyond a predetermined read, typically throwing to the primary option within Lane Kiffin’s offense. Full-field reads are uncommon, and he seldom has to diagnose coverage post-snap. He does flash some ability to identify soft spots in zone coverage, but these moments are infrequent. As a result, he is likely to struggle early when tasked with processing complex NFL defensive structures.
ARM TALENT
Chambliss has an underwhelming arm from an NFL perspective. Many of his deep attempts amount to throwing the ball up and relying on contested catches. He is more comfortable in the short areas, where he can deliver the ball quickly with some zip. However, throws beyond 10 yards tend to lose velocity, and his accuracy can be inconsistent, with misses high and wide on routine throws.
RUSHING/MOBILITY
Mobility is one of Chambliss’s stronger traits. He is a capable athlete who likely has more rushing ability than Ole Miss asked him to showcase. He is shifty in short areas, able to make defenders miss, and elusive enough to extend plays. While not overly fast, his movement skills allow him to create both inside and outside the pocket when plays break down.
MANAGEMENT
He excels at keeping the ball out of harm’s way. Chambliss plays with conviction, understands his responsibilities, and rarely puts his team in poor positions. He makes sound decisions in the option game and generally chooses the correct receiver. While his overall passing ceiling is limited, he shows a solid understanding of situational football and plays within himself.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Chambliss grades out better for fantasy purposes than real-life NFL projection due to his rushing upside. He is not polished enough as a passer to profile as a long-term starter, but his mobility could allow him to deliver usable spot-start weeks if pressed into action. He is best viewed as a depth or Superflex dart throw rather than a reliable fantasy asset.
SUBTLE ARTS
Chambliss does a good job evading pressure while keeping his eyes downfield. Mechanically, he is fairly sound and features a quick release, though his dropback footwork could be cleaned up. He is unlikely to impress with elite ball placement or timing, but he compensates by remaining composed and functional when plays devolve, helping sustain offensive rhythm.

IDEAL TEAM FITS

Chambliss’s size is a concern, but his athleticism lends itself well to offenses that utilize movement and a designed moving pocket. He is unlikely to be drafted as a starter but could be an intriguing developmental flyer. Ideal fits include the San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams, or Los Angeles Chargers.
