Kenyon Sadiq: The Next Elite Fantasy TE? Dynasty Scouting Report Ep.119

The "Move TE" is the cheat code of modern fantasy football, and Kenyon Sadiq might be the next one up. At 6'3" and 245 lbs, the Oregon prospect moves less like a tight end and more like a bully wide receiver. In 2025, he racked up 560 yards and 8 touchdowns, but the film shows a player who is still raw technically. In this episode, we debate if his elite burst outweighs his lack of polish.

Scouting Report Highlights

1. Elite Athleticism & YAC This is the reason you draft Sadiq. We gave him a 9.0 grade for Burst/Acceleration. He doesn't just plod down the seam; he explodes off the line of scrimmage. With 8 forced missed tackles in 2025 and an average of 4.9 yards after the catch, he is a nightmare for linebackers to tackle in space. He looks like "Captain America" on the field—physically imposing and faster than everyone in the front seven.

2. Route Running Needs Refinement While he is fast, he isn't precise yet. The film shows a tendency to "round off" his breaks rather than sinking his hips and cutting sharply. We graded his route running at a 6.5 (slightly above average) because he relies on athleticism to beat coverage rather than nuance. If he can't separate with technique at the NFL level, he risks becoming a "gimmick" player rather than a volume target.

3. Strong Hands in Traffic Despite being slightly undersized for a traditional inline TE (6'3"), Sadiq plays big. He posted a 58% contested catch rate, showing he can box out defenders and attack the football in the air. However, he does have lapses in concentration (10% drop rate range), which is something dynasty managers need to monitor.

The Verdict

We grade Kenyon Sadiq as a High-Upside Tight End. He fits the Vernon Davis mold—a player you manufacture touches for because he is dangerous with the ball in his hands. He is a priority target for dynasty teams looking for a ceiling play at the TE position.
