VISION/PATIENCE
Price excels at the second level with outstanding vision and the ability to manipulate defenders into cutback lanes. He is a decisive one-cut runner who reads blocks well and operates smoothly in both zone and gap schemes. It should be noted that his vision evaluation is somewhat clouded by the massive, gaping holes consistently created by Notre Dame’s elite offensive line.
POWER/CONTACT BALANCE
This is arguably the weakest area of Price’s profile. At just 203 pounds, he runs with a very upright pad level and is taken down too easily on first contact. He is noticeably contact-averse, preferring to run away from defenders rather than through them. While he can occasionally run through weak arm tackles once he builds speed at the second level, he lacks the power and balance to consistently break tackles near the line of scrimmage.
3RD DOWN SKILLSET
Price’s third-down utility is a significant red flag. He has a very thin receiving resume and offers almost no route sophistication beyond screens, where he is dangerous after the catch. Additionally, he is a major liability in pass protection, frequently failing to identify blitzing linebackers and defensive ends, which will likely keep him off the field on obvious passing downs.

ATHLETICISM
Price’s burst and straight-line speed are his calling cards. He ran a solid 4.49 40-yard dash at the combine and pairs that speed with remarkably fluid hips. His sudden short-area explosion allows him to reverse field and erase pursuit angles in a flash, making him a constant threat for chunk plays.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
He is a dynamic, high-burst runner capable of creating explosive chunk plays when given a clear runway. However, his lack of physicality, sub-par contact balance, and virtually non-existent third-down profile raise major concerns for his early NFL translation.
ELUSIVENESS
Price does not rely on a deep repertoire of jukes or spin moves. Instead, he beats defenders with pure acceleration and subtle hesitation moves that allow him to bend and change direction at full speed without losing momentum. This style forces missed tackles at a high rate.

IDEAL TEAM FITS

Price would fit in well with a committee approach where he can be a good change of pace option where another back takes on the 3rd down duties.
