Recliner Rating:

VISION/PATIENCE

Moss is a no-nonsense, north-south runner who efficiently hugs the hip of his linemen to find creases. He shows excellent patience and vision in the backfield earning him an above average grade from us. However, his second-level vision can sometimes falter, occasionally leading him directly into defenders.

POWER/CONTACT BALANCE

This is where Moss truly shines, earning elite grades (between 8 and 9) for contact balance, pad level, and power. He consistently pushes piles, is a beast in short-yardage situations, and often requires gang-tackling to bring down. His pure physicality allowed him to generate an impressive top-39% mark of 3.47 yards after contact per attempt in 2025.

3RD DOWN SKILLSET

If you're looking for a PPR asset, look elsewhere. Moss caught only two passes in 2025 and managed a staggering 0.05 yards per route run. He never saw a target 10-plus yards downfield in his career and suffers from a ninth-worst 17% career drop rate (five drops on 37 career targets). While he flashed some potential in pass protection stonewalling rushers on tape, his career pass-blocking grade is an abysmal 24 out of 100 over just 51 career snaps.

ATHLETICISM

For being more of a power back Moss displayed good north/south burst to take advantage of holes that open up. His top end speed is ok and we rated him slightly above average. However, he lacks quickness especially in the lateral agility category.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

However, his extensive injury history having never played more than nine games in a season and lack of receiving skills likely relegate him to a late Day 3 pick or UDFA. He will need to carve out a role as an early-down thumper on a high-powered offense to return any fantasy value as a touchdown-dependent RB2.

ELUSIVENESS

Moss is below average and does not make defenders miss often. He lacks the lateral agility and suddenness to leave defenders grasping for air. Overall, this is not an area where Moss wins.

IDEAL TEAM FITS

Moss fits as an early down thumper and would be best utilized for short yardage and goal line situations.
